A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

Combine PDFs. Simplify your paperwork.

What is a PDF merger?

A PDF merger combines pages from two or more PDF documents into one file. Use it to put a report and its appendices together, bundle invoices, organize study notes, or send several documents as a single attachment. Instead of juggling separate files, you get one PDF in the order you choose.

How to merge PDF files online

  1. Select your PDFs. Choose at least two files, or drag them into the workspace.
  2. Arrange the documents. Use the up and down arrows to set the file order. The pages inside each PDF keep their original sequence.
  3. Name your file. Enter a useful name for the combined document.
  4. Merge and download. Choose Merge PDFs, then download the result to your device.

Merge PDFs without uploading your files

The file selection and merge happen in your browser. This tool reads the files you select on your device and creates a downloadable PDF locally; it does not send their contents to a processing server. The page and PDF library require an internet connection to load. Clear the workspace or close the page when you are finished.

Keep your pages looking the way they should

Merging copies PDF pages into a combined document rather than turning them into screenshots. Page dimensions, text, and images are carried over without an intentional compression step. Mixed page sizes are supported. The result is a combined PDF, not an editable Word document, and scanned text is not converted with OCR.

A few useful limits to know

You can select up to 50 PDFs, with a limit of 50 MB per file and 100 MB in total. These limits help keep processing manageable, but performance still depends on your device, browser, and document complexity. Password-protected and damaged PDFs are rejected. Interactive form fields are flattened into their visible appearance. Bookmarks, attachments, and digital signatures are not preserved, so keep the original documents when those features matter.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF merger free?

Yes. You can combine PDFs in this tool without creating an account or paying a fee.

Can I change the order before merging?

Yes. Move any file up or down in the list. Files are combined from top to bottom, and the pages within each file stay in their original order.

Will my files be uploaded?

No. This tool processes document contents locally in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our server by the merger.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Use an unlocked copy that you are authorized to access, then add it to the workspace.

Does merging reduce PDF quality or file size?

This tool combines pages without an intentional image compression step. It is not a PDF compressor, so the output may be larger or smaller than the sum of the source files because the PDF structure is rewritten.

Can I merge PDFs on a phone?

Yes, using a modern mobile browser with file selection and download support. For large or complex documents, a desktop device with more available memory may work better.
