      A LITTLE KNOW-HOW

Image Convertor – Convert JPG, PNG & WebP Online

      About This Image Converter

Need to convert an image without installing software? The free Image Convertor from I Love Tools helps you change JPG, PNG and WebP files into a different image format directly in your web browser.

Whether you’re preparing images for a website, sharing pictures, working on a design, or adjusting file compatibility, this tool gives you control over the output format.

You can convert a single image or process multiple images together. Choose WebP for a modern image format, JPG for widely compatible photographs, or PNG when you need lossless output and transparency.

For JPG and WebP, you can also adjust the quality setting to balance visual quality and file size.

Your original files aren’t modified. The converter produces new files that you can download and use wherever they’re needed.

      Is the Image Convertor Private?

The I Love Tools Image Converter processes selected images directly in your browser using built-in browser image-processing technology.

The tool itself does not send your image contents to a server, use third-party conversion APIs, or save your uploads in remote storage.

Your selected images and conversion results remain in the current browser page’s memory during use. Removing an image or clearing the workspace releases the tool’s references to those files and their temporary download URLs.

Downloaded images are saved by your browser according to your device’s download settings.

This privacy description applies to the image converter widget itself. Other scripts or services used by the surrounding WordPress website may have separate privacy practices.

      Frequently asked questions

Is this image convertor free to use?

Yes. The I Love Tools Image Converter works directly in your browser without a paid API, account registration or separate software installation.

Can I convert JPG to PNG and PNG to JPG?

Yes. Upload a JPG or PNG image, choose the format you want, and click Convert Images. The converted image will be available for download.

Can I convert multiple images at once?

Yes. You can select up to 12 images per batch, provided each image is no larger than 15 MB and does not exceed 24 megapixels when decoded. Each successfully converted image has its own download button.

Will converting my images reduce their quality?

It depends on the output format. JPG uses lossy compression, and WebP may use lossy compression according to the quality setting. PNG uses lossless encoding, but converting a previously compressed image to PNG will not restore lost details.

Are my uploaded images stored on a server?

No. This converter processes image files locally within your browser. Its code does not upload image contents or store them remotely.

      Why can't I convert a particular image?

The file may be corrupt, use an unsupported format, exceed the file size or resolution limits, or require more memory than your browser can provide. WebP encoding or decoding may also be unavailable in some browser environments. Check the error message, try a smaller image, or use a current browser.
